Can I have the same colour and pattern for Dutch canopies as patio awnings?

Yes, the material is interchangeable and you can select any colour and pattern from our huge range to give you complete co-ordination between patio awnings and Dutch canopies around your home.

 

 

Can I fit a patio awning myself to save on the cost?

There is no price advantage in fitting a patio awning yourself as installation is free. Also, our patio awning systems come with a free five year guarantee that requires our qualified installers to fit the patio awning (or Dutch canopies) themselves.

 

 

What happens if high winds damage the supporting arms of my patio awning?

This would be a very rare occurrence as our quality patio awnings include an integral wind sensor that will react to high winds and automatically retract the awning to protect it. In the extremely unlikely event that this tried and proven system fails, you are, of course, still covered by our free five year guarantee against structural, electric or operational damage.

 

 

As it is an electrically-operated system, can I nevertheless stop the awning part-way extended should I require?

Yes. The electric motor-driven system operates as long as your finger is on the button of the remote control or the internal wall-mounted switch. Alternatively, you can double click either switch to automatically extend or retract the awning completely.

 

 

How long would it take to fit Dutch canopies to all six ground and upper floor windows around my home?

We tailor the size of our team of installers to enable them to install your Dutch canopies in a day. The bigger the job, the bigger the installation team. Our objective is to give you as little disruption and inconvenience as possible.

 

 

How much would it cost to fit a five metre patio awning to my rear garden wall?

That all depends on a whole range of features and requirements. For instance, how deep do you want the projection? Which colour and model do you want? Are there any irregularities or obstructions on your wall that might influence the attachment method? Where is your nearest power supply? Can I leave the awning out in winter to protect my windows and patio doors from the rain?

Of course. patio awnings and Dutch canopies are made from only the most durable and weatherproof materials. As a result, they are resistant to fading, rot and mildew. What's more, the structural elements are made from stainless steel, powder-coated and zinc-plated steel or rust-proof aluminium to be completely rust-proof. We would recommend a quick hose-down in the Spring to freshen them up.
